§ 01

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using KREW ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

§ 02

Who Can Use KREW

  • You must be 13 years or older to use KREW.
  • If you are under 18, you confirm you have parental or guardian consent.
  • By using the App, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.
§ 03

Your Account

Google Sign-In

When you sign in with Google, you agree to Google's own Terms of Service. We receive only your basic profile information — name, email, and profile photo.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Notify us immediately at hello@trykrew.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Upon deletion:

  • Your profile and personal data will be permanently erased from our servers.
  • Your session history will be removed.
  • Your posts and comments will be removed from the feed.
  • This action is irreversible.
§ 04

User Conduct

By using KREW, you agree not to:

  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Use offensive, hateful, or discriminatory language in session descriptions, usernames, posts, comments, or messages
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Add fake or misleading social media links or bio information to your profile
  • Post photos, videos, or other content that you do not have the right to share, or that contains someone else's personal information
  • Post sexual, graphically violent, or otherwise harmful content, or any content that exploits or endangers minors
  • Send spam, unsolicited promotions, or repeated unwanted messages, including through message requests
  • Misuse post buttons (such as Challenge me, Join my community, or Join my tournament) to mislead or harass other users
  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the App or its servers
Violations may result in account restriction or permanent ban without notice.
§ 05

Sessions, Posts and Messages

Sessions

  • Sessions are created by users and are not moderated in real time by Krew Platforms.
  • We reserve the right to remove any session or content that violates these Terms.
  • You are solely responsible for the content of sessions you create.

Posts and the Feed

  • You can post photos and short video clips to the Krew feed, with a caption and an optional post button (Challenge me, Join my community, Join my tournament, Follow me, or DM me).
  • Posts, likes, and comments are visible to other Krew users, along with your username and profile photo.
  • Posts and comments are not moderated in real time. You are solely responsible for what you post and comment.
  • Challenges, community invites, and tournament invites made through post buttons are between users. Krew Platforms is not a party to any match or arrangement you make.
  • We may remove any post, comment, or button that violates these Terms, and may restrict or ban the account that posted it.

Direct Messages

  • Messages start as message requests. The recipient can accept the request to reply, or delete it.
  • You can report or block a user from the conversation menu. You may include recent messages with a report so we can review them.
  • Direct messages are not moderated in real time. You are responsible for the messages you send.

§ 06

Communities

KREW lets users create or join persistent communities (for a college, clan, or friend group), each with a group chat and optional moderators.

  • Community creators are responsible for the name, description, rules, and photo they set for their community.
  • Creators may appoint moderators, who can remove or timeout members and manage community settings on the creator's behalf.
  • Messages sent in a community's group chat are not moderated in real time by Krew Platforms and are the responsibility of the user who posted them.
  • We reserve the right to remove any community, message, or member that violates these Terms, regardless of the community's own rules.
  • Public communities are discoverable by other users; private communities are accessible only via join code or direct invite.
  • If a community creator deletes their account, the community may be archived or require a new creator, at our discretion.
Community creators and moderators act on their own behalf, not as agents of Krew Platforms. We are not responsible for moderation decisions made within a community.
§ 07

Reporting and Moderation

KREW provides an in-app reporting system covering sessions, communities, posts, comments, direct messages, and user conduct. Users can also block other users. We review reports and take action at our sole discretion, which may include removing content, warnings, restrictions, or permanent bans.

§ 08

Intellectual Property

  • The KREW name, logo, and all associated branding are the property of Krew Platforms.
  • You may not use our branding without written permission.
  • User-generated content (usernames, session descriptions, bios, social links, community descriptions, posts, photos, video clips, comments, and messages) remains yours, but you grant us a license to host, store, and display it within the App.
  • You confirm that you own, or have permission to share, everything you post, including any gameplay footage, music, or other material in your clips.
§ 09

Privacy

Your use of KREW is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points:

  • We collect your email, display name, bio, social links, session activity, community activity (chat messages, membership, roles), and your posts, comments, and direct messages.
  • We do not sell your data to third parties.
  • Data is stored securely via Google Firebase.
§ 10

Disclaimers

  • KREW is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • We are not responsible for any interactions between users, including within communities, group chats, posts, comments, or direct messages, or any that occur outside the App.
§ 11

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Krew Platforms shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of KREW.

§ 12

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via the App.

§ 13

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of courts located in India.

§ 14

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly within the KREW app:

  1. Open the app
  2. Go to Profile
  3. Scroll to the bottom
  4. Tap "Delete Account"
  5. Confirm deletion
Your account, profile, posts, and comments will be permanently deleted. Some anonymized records (such as closed session records and moderation logs) may be retained for community safety, as described in our Privacy Policy. This action cannot be undone.
