Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using KREW ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Who Can Use KREW

• You must be 13 years or older to use KREW.
• If you are under 18, you confirm you have parental or guardian consent.
• By using the App, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

Your Account

Guest Accounts

You may use KREW as a guest. Guest accounts have limited features and your session data may not be permanently retained.

Google Sign-In

When you sign in with Google, you agree to Google's own Terms of Service. We receive only your basic profile information — name, email, and profile photo.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Notify us immediately at hello@trykrew.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Upon deletion:

• Your profile and personal data will be permanently erased from our servers.
• Your session history will be removed.
• This action is irreversible.

User Conduct

By using KREW, you agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use offensive, hateful, or discriminatory language in session descriptions or usernames
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Add fake or misleading social media links or bio information to your profile
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the App or its servers

Sessions and Content

• Sessions are created by users and are not moderated in real time by Krew Platforms.
• We reserve the right to remove any session or content that violates these Terms.
• You are solely responsible for the content of sessions you create.

Communities

KREW lets users create or join persistent communities (for a college, clan, or friend group), each with a group chat and optional moderators.

• Community creators are responsible for the name, description, rules, and photo they set for their community.
• Creators may appoint moderators, who can remove or timeout members and manage community settings on the creator's behalf.
• Messages sent in a community's group chat are not moderated in real time by Krew Platforms and are the responsibility of the user who posted them.
• We reserve the right to remove any community, message, or member that violates these Terms, regardless of the community's own rules.
• Public communities are discoverable by other users; private communities are accessible only via join code or direct invite.
• If a community creator deletes their account, the community may be archived or require a new creator, at our discretion.

Reporting and Moderation

KREW provides an in-app reporting system covering sessions, communities, and user conduct. We review reports and take action at our sole discretion, which may include warnings, restrictions, or permanent bans.

Intellectual Property

• The KREW name, logo, and all associated branding are the property of Krew Platforms.
• You may not use our branding without written permission.
• User-generated content (usernames, session descriptions, bios, social links, community descriptions, and chat messages) remains yours, but you grant us a license to display it within the App.

Privacy

Your use of KREW is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points:

• We collect your email, display name, bio, social links, session activity, and community activity (chat messages, membership, roles).
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• Data is stored securely via Google Firebase.

Disclaimers

• KREW is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
• We are not responsible for any interactions between users that occur outside the App, including within communities or their group chats.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Krew Platforms shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of KREW.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via the App.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of courts located in India.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly within the KREW app:

1. Open the app
2. Go to Profile
3. Scroll to the bottom
4. Tap "Delete Account"
5. Confirm deletion
