Child Safety Standards

This page sets out Krew's published standards on CSAE, in line with our Terms & Conditions and applicable child safety laws, and explains how to report a concern.

1. What We Prohibit

Krew strictly prohibits:

• Any content depicting, describing, or promoting the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors, in any form
• Photos, videos, clips, captions, or comments posted to the Krew feed or a profile that sexualize, exploit, or endanger minors
• Grooming, soliciting, or attempting to establish inappropriate contact with a minor
• Using direct messages, message requests, or post buttons (such as DM me or Challenge me) to groom, solicit, or contact a minor inappropriately
• Sextortion or coercion of a minor
• Trafficking or attempted trafficking of a minor for any purpose
• Use of Krew to facilitate, arrange, or advertise any of the above, on or off the platform
• Any of the above conduct occurring within a Krew community — including community chats, group messages, or community descriptions and rules

2. How to Report a Concern

If you encounter content or behavior on Krew that you believe violates this policy, you can report it in two ways:

• In-app: Open the relevant session, community, post, comment, chat message, direct message, or user's profile, and use the report option. In a direct message conversation, open the conversation menu to report or block the user, and include recent messages with your report so our team can review them. Reports can be made without leaving the app.
• By email: Contact hello@trykrew.com directly. Please include as much detail as possible — usernames, session details, screenshots — to help us investigate quickly.

We review all reports and take action at our discretion, which may include warnings, content removal, account suspension, or a permanent ban.

3. How We Respond to CSAM

If we obtain actual knowledge of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on Krew, we will:

• Immediately remove the content and restrict the responsible account
• Preserve relevant information as required by law
• Report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and, where applicable, to relevant regional or local law enforcement authorities
• Cooperate with law enforcement investigations to the extent required by applicable law

4. Feed, Direct Messages, Communities and Moderation

Krew has a social feed where users can post photos and video clips, and direct messages that begin as message requests. Recipients can accept or delete a request, and any user can report or block another user from the conversation menu. Krew Platforms reviews reports about posts, comments, and messages, and may remove content, restrict accounts, or permanently ban users who violate this policy.

Krew communities include group chats that may be moderated by community creators and their appointed moderators. This community-level moderation is a supplement to, not a replacement for, Krew's own enforcement — Krew Platforms retains the right to review, remove, and act on any community, chat message, or member at any time, regardless of the community's own rules or moderators.

5. Compliance with Child Safety Laws

Krew is committed to complying with applicable child safety laws and regulations, including maintaining a process to report confirmed CSAM to NCMEC or the relevant regional authority, and to acting on valid legal requests from law enforcement regarding child safety.

6. Age Requirements

Krew requires users to be at least 13 years of age, in line with our Terms & Conditions. We do not knowingly permit accounts belonging to children under this age, and accounts found to violate this requirement will be removed. Users under 18 should only accept message requests from people they know and trust, and should report or block anyone who makes them feel uncomfortable.
